In this

Lead Electrical Engineer

role, you will have the opportunity to:

Serve as a

Technical Specialist

or take on a

leadership role , offering guidance and expertise for Conventional

Power Generation Projects

and Teams. Generate electrical drawing deliverables , encompassing:

One-line and three-line diagrams

Electrical motor schematics, breaker control schematics, and wiring diagrams

Power cable sizing and cable schedules

Advanced engineering calculations, including load flow, short circuit, motor starting (using ETAP or SKM), Arc flash analysis (using ETAP or SKM), protective relay settings, and battery and charger sizing.

Develop electrical equipment specifications and Bills of Materials (BOM) for procurement and construction purposes.

Establish man-hour budgets and project schedules for both ongoing projects and proposals.

Participate in on-site meetings, conduct investigations into existing conditions, engage with clients, and provide construction support.

Utilize various Microsoft Office business systems like ProjectWise, electrical engineering software such as ETAP, and Computer-Aided Drafting Tools like AutoCAD to review and manipulate engineering drawing files efficiently.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

from a recognized accredited program in the candidate's home country or the country where they practice professionally.

At least 8 years

of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Extensive experience and proficiency in

designing utility-scale

conventional power generation projects.

Prior engineering consulting experience in LV/MV Power.

Background in

QA/QC

and project leadership.

Ability to work within scheduled timelines and man-hour budgets.

Familiarity with relevant NEC and IEEE/ANSI standards.

Hands-on experience with various electrical equipment, including but not limited to: MV and LV switchgear, secondary unit substation transformers (GSUT, UAT), panel boards, breakers, protective relays, inverters, batteries, battery chargers, disconnect switches, surge arrestors, medium voltage cables, low voltage cables, control cables, and fiber optic cables.

Proficiency in written communication.

Demonstrated drive for achieving results.

Strong skills in priority setting, planning, delegation, and directing others.

Ability to manage conflicts effectively.

Aptitude for providing clear and informative communication.

Proficient in active listening.

Capable of navigating ambiguity and fostering effective team dynamics.

Advanced understanding of engineering design principles, as well as applicable design guides and standards relevant to the assigned engineering discipline.

Key Responsibilities: Engineering Standards:

Offers guidance and direction regarding departmental design guides, standards, systems, applicable engineering codes.

Assists in the development, maintenance, and updating of engineering standards.

Provides technical support and guidance to team members concerning projects and disciplines.
