Intramotev isseeking an Electrical Engineer to join the development team to meet growingdemands in the development of self-propelled rail vehicles. Intramotev isdeveloping multiple unmanned self-propelled vehicles. The role has a strongelectrical focus with additional software abilities - the successful candidatewill be a member of the development team for innovative self-propelledcapabilities in electrical controllers, battery systems, and electric motorsystems for current and future platforms. The development of these capabilitiesinclude multi-disciplinary skills - algorithms development, systemsdevelopment, integration, and testing. This position will be based out of St.Louis, MOThis positioninvolves working in a dynamic team environment on small (1-2) to medium (3-6)person projects where excellent interpersonal and communication skills areneeded. Due to the research nature of the work, project objectives andrequirements are likely to evolve over the course of the role. Tests and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements. Solves problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle. Supports the supplier development, test and production activities and coordination with the supplier to optimize the design Research technological advancements for potential application to company business needs.Basic Qualifications(Required Skills/Experience) At least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Science 1-3+ years of experience with controllers and electrical systems U.S. Person (immigration or work visa sponsorship will not be provided) Motivated, detail-oriented Willingness to expand into technical areas beyond your area of expertise; ability to develop innovative and novel approaches Open-minded and comfortable working in a teaming environment or as an individual contributor Fluent in both written and verbal EnglishPreferredQualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)Candidate shouldhave a working knowledge of one or (ideally) multiple areas listed below: 1+ years of experience with C, C++, C# and/or Python programming Unmanned Rail Systems / Unmanned Systems Demonstrated experience working on project teams and collaborating with other engineering disciplines.Typical Educationand Experience:Education/experiencetypically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) andtypically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combinationof technical education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience,3 years' related work experience, etc.).Relocation:This position offersrelocation based on candidate eligibility.VaccinationRequirements:Intramotev does notcurrently require vaccination for COVID 19.Equal OpportunityEmployer:Intramotev is anEqual Opportunity Employer.
