Hiring Opportunity: Perrysburg OH

Our client out of Perrysburg OH is looking to add a first shift CNC Machinist to their team Our client is a leader in the aftermarket parts industry within the flexible packaging industry.

The CNC Machinists main role will be to machine existing jobs and new jobs per Planning & Engineering procedure using Mastercam generated programs.

Qualified candidates will have experience with horizontal lathe

Job Requirements

Responsibilities:

-Machine existing and new jobs per Planning & Engineering procedure using Mastercam generated programs.
- Verify program set-ups and perform at machine adjustments using cutter compensation and other techniques to achievement print tolerances.
- Perform in-process inspections on all parts.
- Machine work holding tight tolerances.
- Work with Programming to assist in developing new methods to minimize operations and shorten lead times through production.
- Communicate effectively with engineering and programming departments.
- Have own tools and reliable transportation.

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma
- Engineering certificate or Journeyman"s card from a college or trade school preferred.
- 3 years experience in CNC machining and machine set-ups.
- Knowledge of Mazak Smooth controls and operation is a plus
- Experience in CNC programming using Mastercam helpful.
- Experience running turn/mill centers and 5 axis programming is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively with team members to produce accurate, high quality parts within tight deadlines.
- Ability to read and interpret complex drawings.
