Aquarius Landscape Supply, a partner of Heritage LSG is actively seeking a self-motivated, customer service-oriented individual that is a team player.

This Yard Associate is a hands-on trade that appeals to those who like to work outdoors. This full-time Yard Associate will focus on duties such as stocking the yard area, warehouse areas, shipping and receiving of products, loading/unloading trucks and delivering products. The workweek is Monday through Friday, with an opportunity for overtime during the busy season. **Experience and interest working in an outdoor yard setting.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Stocking, receiving, pulling, and staging all yard/warehouse products
  • Loading, unloading, securing product for customers, delivery vehicles, inbound trucks
  • Keeping yard area neat and organized
  • Ensuring the outdoor areas are safe, clean, and attractive
  • Operating Forklifts in outdoor environments
  • Delivering products to customers/branches
  • Focusing on safe work practices, such as wearing PPE, proper lifting techniques, etc. while performing daily duties and using company equipment
  • Other related duties as assigned: receiving, warehouse duties, etc.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Basic computer knowledge and Internet use
  • Forklift experience helpful, not required
  • Must be able to work in outdoor/yard setting
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) is helpful, but not required
  • Delivering products, non-CDL driving experience
  • Experience and interest working in a physically demanding role lifting up to 75 lbs.
  • An eye for safety including pre-trip inspections, securing loads, and strict adherence to DOT/CDL regulations
  • Understanding and adherence to the regulations detailed in the FMCSA
  • Able to pass criminal, DOT, driving background check and a pre-employment drug test
Education/Experience:
  • High school diploma/GED and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience working in a warehouse, yard setting or similar environment.
  • Delivering products, non-CDL driving experience.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to lifting up to 75 lbs.
  • Exposure to high noise level in the work environment.
