Welder/Fitter

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter (MINIMUM 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE) to join our team .

As a Welder/Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating metal components according to blueprints and specifications. This is a full-time position that offers competitive pay and benefits.

Duties:

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings

• Measure and mark dimensions on metal pieces using tools such as micrometers and rulers

• Cut, shape, and fit metal components using hand tools, plasma cutting equipment, and press brake machines

• Weld metal parts together using various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, or Stick)

• Inspect welded joints for accuracy and quality

• Operate forklifts to move materials and finished products

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Welder/Fitter in a manufacturing or construction setting

• Strong knowledge of welding techniques and equipment operation

• Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics

• Ability to accurately measure and mark dimensions on metal pieces
