Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a custom manufacturer and industrial repair company who is looking to add an Industrial Painter Foreman to their team. This is a direct hire position and the ideal candidate will have 3+ years as an industrial painter using various power tools.

Responsibilities:

1. Cleaning and preparing surfaces using power tools such as a sand blaster .
2. Paint preparation: prepare the paint, using equipment like viscosity cups, thickness gauges and gloss gauges to check paint composition.
3. Applying paint: Industrial painters use a variety of techniques and tools to apply paint, including airless or electrostatic spray equipment, rollers and brushes. Choose the right tools for the job, whether you are applying primers, prefinishes or topcoats.
4. Compliance with safety standards
5. Cleaning equipment and work areas: Carefully follow all instructions for the safe handling and disposal of chemicals and hazardous waste.
6. Maintaining equipment: Able to understand how to adjust industrial painting equipment and make sure it works properly.

Requirements:

• Able to travel 65% or more
• 3+ years of industrial painting experience
• Experience using power tools by hand
