Permanent** **The Role:-**

You will be working across a number of overground train stations for our client West Midlands Trains and your role will involve the following core activities:

* The job will cover - sweep, mop and wipe down floors and surfaces, clean toilet area, litter pick all areas, empty bins, general cleaning etc.

* Responsibility for the care and maintenance of tools, materials and additional company property

* Delivering work allocated to the standards of quality required and within set timescales

* Ensuring the Health and Safety of self and others in the workplace in accordance with company policy

* Following and adherence to instructions and directives from line management

* Compliance with relevant company Health & Safety Policy, instructions and directives

**The hours: Cover shifts when other staff on sick or annual leave Monday to Friday - 6am till 2pm**

**About you:-**

To perform this role effectively you will be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

* Previous relevant work related experience (preferred but not essential)

* Basic numeracy and literacy skills

* Good awareness and understanding of personal health and safety, method statements and risk assessments

* Enthusiastic, punctual, conscientious, motivated, interpersonal skills, accurate measuring and scoping of works

* Good knowledge of current industry practice
