Director of Memory Care Job Summary:
Responsible for the coordination of all programming and staffing aspects of the Memory Care Program at the community while adhering to state policies governing dementia resident care
Supports the Director of Health and Wellness in the creation and presentation of the quarterly wellness plans
Assisting the residents and their families in maintaining the physical and emotional health of the individual
Coordinates all aspects of life for Memory Care residents including evaluation of residents upon admission and development of personal plan or program
Responsible for departmental schedule and ensures adequate staffing in accordance with company standards, policies, procedures, budgets and state laws
Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to ensure continuity of the resident’s total regimen of care
Qualifications :
Current Regestered Nursing Licensure for the State of Connecticut required.
Minimum of three years experience in a senior living care setting
Available to work a flexible schedule
Knowledge of Dementia care is required
Ability to work under pressure and relate well to residents
CPR certification
