JOB SUMMARYCRT's machinist pre-apprenticeship prepares a high school student to enter a full apprenticeship upon graduation. Individuals in the pre-apprenticeship have a pathway to employment with CRT. The pre-apprentice is enrolled in a technical program at their school related to CRT's apprenticeship, which typically includes classroom and lab time. The pre-apprentice then receives hands-on experience and training in their field at CRT through internships and shadowing opportunities. Once the pre-apprenticeship is completed successfully, the individual will be hired full time at CRT, placed directly into the full apprenticeship, and apply previous training and classroom hours towards their completion.
