The
Manufacturing Engineer
performs various professional level engineering duties in a variety of engineering and scientific disciplines. There is an emphasis on supporting the company’s products and processes related to system/component design, development, manufacturing and testing.
Responsibilities:
Applies engineering and scientific principles in such technical fields as mechanics, electronics, flight technology, structures, chemistry, metallurgy, mathematics, and computer science.
Responsible for creating product work instructions, models & sketches and being the technical lead for production hardware.
May conduct or participate in portions of studies, investigations or analyses involving reliability, predictability, value engineering; or quality assurance problems including hardware and software projects.
Responsible for troubleshooting, dispositioning non-conforming hardware, and providing root cause and corrective action.
Continuously strives to improve processes & techniques
Prepares reports, charts, graphs, and other related documents.

The
Manufacturing Engineer

Required Skills
Solid communication skills, both written and verbal, across functional area
Possesses advanced problem solving and troubleshooting skills

Drives for results to establish Root Cause & Positive Corrective Action
Experience with
CAD
software for 3D models and 2D drawings (SolidWorks preferred)
Quantitative analysis skills using Excel and other software tools
Drives for results, action oriented
Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
Required Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or related field required. 2+ years’ experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment preferred
Experience with various test and measurement equipment is preferred
e.g. Voltmeter, Oscilloscope, Calipers, Micrometers
Mechatronics/Electro-Mechanical background is preferred
Manufacturing/assembly experience preferred
Must be legally authorized to work in the US, visa sponsorship not available
