The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Warehouse & Logistics Departments. This position is responsible for the checking in/out of drivers, as well as accurate and timely creation of shipping documents for each shipment leaving the Virginia facility. Additional duties will include those associated with scheduling pickup appts, scheduling LTL carriers for customer routed shipments, and providing commercial shipping documents to freight carriers, customers and/or international brokerage agents for orders exporting the United States.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Reviews the Logistics outbound truck schedule daily from Shipment Scheduling Tools; Microsoft Sharepoint Customer BOLs, and customer specific paperwork

Prepares any documentation ahead of time for the day as needed

Contact LTL carriers for pickup of orders routed by Customers Confirms carrier requested appointment times within Logistics Scheduling Tools for pick-ups; via Microsoft Outlook & phone calls Assists with calculations of product pack-out for all shipments Main contact for all scheduled & arriving freight carriers to the Monoflo Virginia shipping facilities Driver Check-ins Directions, as needed Confirmation of proper equipment, shipment reference numbers & order destinations

Accurately prepare all shipping documents Printing of Pick Tickets and distribution to Material Handlers Creates Packing Slips and Bill of Ladings out of Monoflo ERP System: IQMS Prepares commercial documentation for international shipments

Communicates daily with Accounting on credit holds and Proforma Invoicing, as necessary Filing of any/all shipping documentation Complete other tasks as assigned by Senior Logistics Coordinator and/or Logistics Manager

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent Bill of Lading creation and other misc shipping docs including but not limited to International Shipping documents; USMCA, Commercial Invoices, etc

1 year of Logistics/Shipping experience preferred

Ability to follow processes and instruction consistently and accurately Ability to communicate effectively - both written and oral Exhibits a strong work ethic with high initiative Proficient use of Microsoft Office products
