Responsibilities:

1. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, assessing their financial needs, and recommending appropriate products and services.

2. Conduct a variety of banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account transfers, accurately and efficiently.

3. Open new accounts, including checking, savings, and certificates of deposit, and assist customers with account maintenance and inquiries.

4. Cross-sell bank products and services to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals.

5. Stay informed about bank products, services, and policies to effectively assist customers and answer their questions.

6. Adhere to all regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.

7. Collaborate with team members to achieve branch goals and provide a seamless customer experience.

8. Assist with various operational tasks, including opening and closing procedures, balancing cash drawers, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

9. Continuously strive to enhance your knowledge and skills through training and development opportunities.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.

2. Previous banking experience preferred, but not required.

3. Strong customer service and communication skills.

4. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

5. Sales-oriented mindset with a passion for helping customers achieve their financial goals.

6. Proficiency in basic computer applications and ability to learn new software systems.

7. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

8. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

9. Flexibility to work weekends as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Six months' experience in the teller function, as well as sales experience, particularly in cross-marketing products and services.
  • Excellent sales, interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
  • Good understanding of bank and services.
  • Above average computer skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
