JOB SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Administrator reports directly to the Human Resources Manager.

The main objective is to assist and service plant employees in matters of Human Resources, seeing all benefits are paid properly and employees' needs are met according to company policy.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Administration of the Companys Benefit Programs

Workers Compensation Administration

Leave of absence administration

Administration of the

recruitment/selection

process

New Hire processing and orientation

Coordination of Company events

Process on-going personnel changes (work status, pay rates, etc.)

Assistance in the maintenance of personnel records

Interfaces with all employees and outside agencies seeking personnel-related information

Creates various personnel-related reports on an ongoing basis

Other tasks or duties may be assigned as needed

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Must possess excellent Microsoft Office skills Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Email, etc.

Knowledge and/or experience with human resources information systems

High level of integrity, accuracy and confidentiality

Detail oriented

Professional, customer service focused and self-driven

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

Prior experience in a human resources setting is desirable, but not required

Morse for his telegraph network and Thomas A. Edison for the Pearl Street Generating Station, the nation's first, built in New York City in 1882.

In addition, we provide cables to various other industrial customers in areas of Hospitals, Colleges & Universities, Water Treatment Plants and Data Centers. With today's focus on renewable energy, Okonite cables can be found at Wind Farms, Solar Farms, and Biofuel generating facilities.
