Sr. Application Coordinator

Defines and documents system scope and objectives based on knowledge of the clinical systems and user needs. Develops system specifications, performs system design across a variety of applications, and executes system test plans. Anticipates problems, provides solutions to complex problems with the necessary priorities, and presents the solution to the clinical partners. Manages components of medium to large size, complex clinical system projects, provides mentoring of system analysts, and provides support of others on clinical system projects. Develops detailed system selection criteria based on functional and technical requirements. Builds effective relationships with the clinical partners (physicians, nurses, technologists and other care givers) in the specification, design and testing activities, and presents ideas clearly and concisely.EducationBachelors Degree : in MIS, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field / clinical specialty (Required)Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.Experience4 Years experience with EMR software application implementation(s) (Required)4 Years experience with all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and/or project life cycle (PLC) (Required)4 Years experience in a hospital acute care environment as an employee or consultant (Required)1 Year experience with a variety of healthcare clinical systems, e.g., Epic, GE, McKesson, Siemens (Required)License/CertificationsEC - Epic Certification (Preferred)Epic Willow***Your Tomorrow is HereTemple Health is committed to setting new standards for preventing, diagnosing and treating major diseases in our community and across the nation.
