Job Overview:

X-Bow Systems is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shipping & Receiving (S&R) Manager to join our team in Texas. The S&R Manager will be responsible for overseeing the shipping, receiving, and inventory process, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and maintaining accurate inventory records. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage audits, ensure compliance, and train S&R staff on best practices in reporting, tracking, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Management:
    • Oversee and manage the company's inventory, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in tracking materials and supplies.
    • Implement and maintain inventory control systems to optimize stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
  • Compliance & Auditing:
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
    • Conduct regular audits of inventory and supply chain processes to identify and address discrepancies.
    • Collaborate with the compliance team to stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure that all procedures meet current standards.
  • Staff Training & Development:
    • Develop and implement training programs for S&R staff on compliance, reporting, and tracking procedures.
    • Provide ongoing support and guidance to S&R staff to ensure adherence to best practices.
    • Monitor and assess staff performance, providing feedback and opportunities for growth.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
    • Prepare and maintain detailed reports on inventory levels, compliance audits, and supply chain activities.
    • Accurate documentation of all S&R processes and transactions.
    • Present findings and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, inventory control, or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance standards and regulations in the aerospace or defense industry.
  • Experience with conducting audits and implementing corrective actions.
  • Proven ability to train and mentor staff, with a focus on compliance, reporting, and tracking.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in the aerospace or defense industry.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems.
