Our client, a top supplier with exceptional spirits/wine portfolio, is adding a Market Sales Manager covering Ohio (partners with SGWS). Can be based in one of the top cities near a good airport (but Cleveland ideal). You will be responsible for delivering volume, distribution, and merchandising performance across the assigned market covering all channels of business, both on and off-premise. Generous bonus on top of base salary.Responsibilities:Manage Company brand portfolio within assigned marketEnsure the planning and implementation of sales programming in all marketsEnsure POS and other marketing assets are utilized in the field with correct programsMerchandising and building displaysImplement creative programs to activate the consumer, including product sampling and demosSpend time each month surveying the market to ensure that distribution, pricing, POS, displays, programs, menus, and ads are executed to standardTravel within territory to actively engage accountsRequirements:Strong interpersonal and leadership skillsExcellent communication skills, particularly verbal, including strong presentation skillsOrganizational skillsAbility to work independently with little direction or supervision; "self-starter"Willing to be very "hands-on" to get the job accomplished.Proficient in Microsoft suite including Excel, Word, and Power PointValid driver's license and ability to drive and travel 4-5 days per week requiredMinimum 1-2 years' experience in the wine and spirits industryVery top team (I placed most of them), career path with portfolio adding new brands every yearPlease send qualified resume to: lwertman judge.com
