Role: The Receptionist is responsible for greeting, assisting, and directing visitors to the appropriate department or personnel, ensuring that security procedures are followed and badges are assigned as appropriate. In addition, the Receptionist receives and processes shipments, packages, and deliveries.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Greets, assists, and directs visitors and vendors to the appropriate department or personnel, ensuring that security procedures are followed.
  • Receives, sorts, and processes incoming and outgoing mail. Maintains a chain of custody for all packages. Assists departments with mail processing.
  • Facilitates badge issuance for all visitors, vendors, and employees as needed, ensuring badge procedures are followed. Maintains badge issuance logs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience: One or more years of experience as a Greeter or Receptionist in a professional environment is required.

Education:A high school diploma or a GED is required.

Other skills required:
  • Must have the ability to efficiently utilize Outlook email and perform basic transactions in the core operating system.
  • Good communication and organizational skills required.
  • Must demonstrate strong time management and problem solving ability.
  • Must demonstrate accuracy, attention to detail and thoroughness.
