Description

SUMMARY

As the Project Coordinator, you will collaborate with the Sales and Administration teams to

coordinate the execution of a wide range in projects, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency

for our valued customers.

DESCRIPTION

The primary responsibilities of the Project Coordinator include oversight and administration of all

post-sale support functions and all tasks required to support the projects.

SKILLS / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process new order paperwork for all jobs, auditing for information details and completion of all required parts necessary for order approval and processing.
  • Enter in-house stock adjustments, reserving items for each project/job into Inventory system (Smartsheet).
  • Enter summary information from Vendor purchase orders (Manu, Est Lead Time, Est Ship Date, etc.) into the Project Delivery Schedule ("PDS").
  • Synchronize and schedule material shipment(s) with third-party LTL freight carriers, that are to be drop shipped direct from the manufacturer to the customer.
  • Update the PDS weekly or biweekly, depending on how far out the start of the project is.
  • Schedule installation projects with third party installers, equipment rentals needed for installations, and daily McGee deliveries and material pick-ups.
  • Work autonomously, while taking direction from Manager.
  • Communicate regularly with the Sales Team to ensure overall project success.
  • Effectively communicate with Team members and outside vendors.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suites and business driven social media outlets.
  • Strong organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills.
  • Experience with project management software and processes.
WORK EXPERIENCE
  • ? Previous experience as a project coordinator
  • ? Knowledge and/or experience in the material handling industry
  • ? Knowledge and/or experience coordinating freight
  • ? Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent experience in a related field
  • ? Minimum (2-3) years' experience in a project management software (Smartsheet or similar)
  • ? Strong written and oral communication skills
  • ? Strong understanding of freight terms, pricing strategies and negotiations a plus
  • ? Strong interpersonal skills - Cooperative and friendly - Team player
  • ? Proven and consistent work ethic
  • ? Ethical approach to all business matters that are representative of the company

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/LICENSING REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree or 4 years of related experience. Material handling or heavy equipment industry experience a plus.

WORK CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms. Employee must have normal manual

dexterity and be able to effectively manipulate keyboard and phone. Light lifting may be required.
