From our humble beginnings as a mobile coffee truck on the streets of San Diego in 2013, Perky Beans Coffee has grown up and laid down roots in Leander, Texas. We are family-owned and operated, and since 2021, we've offered two concepts under one roof. Perky Beans Coffee is our complete coffeehouse with a drive-thru, offering a variety of delicious beverages as well as quick bites. Located right next door is PB Cafe, where our customers can sit down and order all the breakfast classics as well as items from our tasty lunch menu.

YOUR LIFE AS A SERVER

This restaurant position is part-time and has a weekday and weekend morning schedule. The hours needed are from 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM on both weekdays and weekends.

In the hospitality industry, flexibility is key. While we may not always need every team member to work every weekend or both weekend days, having an open availability on weekends greatly enhances our ability to ensure excellent service and maintain operational efficiency. Joining our team with this flexibility not only demonstrates your commitment to the role but also enables us to create a more adaptable and effective workforce.

As a part-time Server, you are vital to the experience of our customers. When guests enter our restaurant, you greet them with a smile. You give each customer a menu and introduce them to our dishes, including our daily or seasonal specials. If the guest has any questions about our menu items, ingredients, or pricing, you cheerfully answer them.

Always attentive to detail, you take each customer's drink and food order and input them accurately for the kitchen to prepare. You also prepare and serve drinks. When food is ready, you verify that each plate is correct before running the plates to the proper table. As each party eats, you check up on them to ensure that they are satisfied and refill any drinks or condiments as needed. Additionally, you accurately process cash and credit card payments. You love working with our guests and take pride in serving top-notch customer service

WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR SERVER

• 18+ years of age
• Food Handler and Texas Alcohol Beverage Code (TABC) certifications
• 6+ months of restaurant or customer service experience
• Ability to stand for long periods of time as well as to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
• Must have open availability which includes mornings, evenings, and weekends
