Job Description Job Description Salary:Softrim is a leading technology services provider with Managed IT and Low Voltage offerings. We have offices in Alpharetta GA, Raleigh NC, and Estero FL.We are looking for an experienced candidate to join our Technology Services division and lead all aspects of IT as a senior network engineer including troubleshooting, training, and implementation of systems while providing superior support for your team members and clients. The candidate should have strong experience in troubleshooting network infrastructure, servers, and desktops and also possess exceptional customer service and communication skills.Responsibilities:Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 3 technical support issues and act as the primary and final escalation pointDesign and implement networking, storage, server and client operating systems, Active Directories, wireless and wireline connectivity, and security/intrusion systemsWork with management team members, decision makers, and stakeholders to define business and technical requirementsSolution design and implementation of new technologies for clients to meet the business requirementsImplementation/Support of Microsoft Products (Windows Server, O365, Azure)Interface with high-level managers and principals at client businesses while managing their needs and expectationsAssist clients and team members with business technology concerns, repairs, and improvementsProvide clients with technical expertise on Windows desktop/server technologies, peripherals, networking, and cloud-based solutionsAdminister Microsoft Active Directory and Email/O365 user accountsTroubleshoot network connectivity and work with wireless controllers, access points, routers, firewalls, and network switchesSupport network infrastructure (e.g., Ubiquiti), WAN, LAN, and Firewalls (e.g., SonicWall)Perform preventive and proactive maintenance and support as neededProactively determine ways to improve support and serviceEvaluate, recommend, and execute new technologies to ensure optimal desktop infrastructure and network performanceAssist team members with appointments, projects, and requests as neededCollaborate with team members and engineers/senior engineers to resolve complex issuesMaintain an open line of communication regarding events, outstanding issues, and customer follow-up and inform management of critical issuesAccurately record all time and notes for work performedDocument all work performed in the ticketing system (ConnectWise)Maximize billable status for work performedOther duties as assignedRequirements:5 years of working experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting various technology environmentsExtensive experience in networking, firewall, routing, and switching experienceExtensive experience in Office 365 suite of applications (Intune, SharePoint, Exchange)Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure & Azure Active DirectoryStrong customer service and active listening skillsStrong written and verbal skillsStrong interpersonal and client management skills are a mustAbility to handle client interactions professionally and respectfullyHighly motivated and organized with an attention to detail and a passion for computersTravel to client sites is occasionally requiredEmployment Terms:Full-time, Exempt, Salary. Eligible for benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, disability) and 401(k) after introductory period. Typical business hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. with a lunch break, Monday thru Friday, excluding company-observed holidays. After-hours work may be required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
