LEAN SPECIALIST
We are seeking a Lean Specialist to lead waste reduction programs and operation costs. You will analyze the Company's production and transactional processes, identify cause of waste and develop ideas for improvement. As a Lean Specialist you will improve the Company's safety and quality of products and services.
YOUR DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
* Analyzing the Company's production and transactional processes, identifying cause of waste and developing ideas for improvement. Lead the improvement activities.
* Perform waste identification activities, or
* Facilitate activity of operational lean leaders in team efforts to execute waste identification by use of value stream mapping methodology.
* Prioritize, Identify necessary tools and lead efforts to develop improvement solutions for waste reduction and for meeting secondary targets.
* Explain potential benefits of these ideas and lead implementation.
* Preparing reports regarding status or progress on achieving the goals of the organization concerning results achieved in waste reduction.
* Propose lean measurables and organize data collection and review.
* Compile team activity reports and present them for best practice sharing.
* Staying current on lean manufacturing process best practices and tools used to eliminate waste.
* Establishing and reviewing training needs to achieve waste reduction goals.
* Preparing training materials and executing training or coordinating training with external consultants.
* Ensuring best in class industry practices in terms of lean manufacturing are continuously benchmarked and adopted when deemed to be useful for meeting Company goals.
YOU ARE THE IDEAL CANDIDATE IF:
* you have a degree in the engineering/technical field
* you have experience in the automotive manufacturing industry
* you have a minimum of five years relevant experience in Lean manufacturing
* you have excellent analytical and problem solving skills
* you have strong, active communicative English language skills
