Junior Business Analyst

Overview Under guidance of the Sr. Business Analyst, the Business Analyst will facilitate assigned projects by serving as a liaison between users and developers, setting and communicating goals, and evaluating and refining results. Essential Duties And Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Embraces the 1 T.E.A.M culture. Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions. Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies. Stay up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems. Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings. Perform requirements analysis. Validate resource requirements and develop cost estimate models. Create, develop, provide, and coordinate system trainings, materials, and other educational tools. Effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management. Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports. Work closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff. Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements. Perform user acceptance testing. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports. Review a variety of areas including operations, purchasing, inventory, distribution, and facilities. Manage projects, develop project plans, and monitor performance. Monitor deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects. Performs other responsibilities and duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Strong knowledge and understanding of Stratix system, preferred. Expertise in Microsoft programs and windows-based applications. Experience in SQL report writing, preferred. Ability to solve complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information. Self-directed and detailed, with creative brainstorming and solutioning skills and strong communications. Critical thinking skills, superior communication skills, facilitation skills, and the ability to bring cross-functional areas together to drive understanding of point of departure/point of arrival and gaps are necessary tools to be successful in the role. Strong verbal and written communication. Education Requirements Bachelors degree in business, information technology or related field. Industry knowledge and experience, preferred.
