Req #762 Thursday, April 18, 2024 Position Overview: As the Staff Accountant you will be responsible for handling the accounting duties for the company owned entities and retail accounting customers. Responsibilities: Reviewing and preparing financial statements in a timely manner with accuracy Maintaining efficient and accurate operations for all phases of the accounting cycle including but not limited to payables, receivables, payroll, inventory, reporting etc. Preparing monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts and bank statements Analyzing and interpreting financial information such as balance sheets, cash flow and income statements Preparing budgets and ad hoc analysis as needed Identifying and implementing process improvements Developing and maintaining sound internal controls and ensuring ongoing compliance Answering inquiries from customers by analyzing and interpreting information Maintaining professionalism and confidentiality practices regarding company information Prioritizing and managing multiple tasks simultaneously ensuring deadlines are met accordingly Building and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders Perform other duties as assigned by leadership Warehouse Office – approx. 65F – 70F Schedule: Monday – Friday Standard Business Hours Experience: Preferred: One (1) – Three (3) years experience in Accounting & knowledge of GAAP Preferred: Bachelors degree of Science in Accounting Preferred: Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace etc Skills: Physical abilities
