Implement and manage CI/CD tools and pipelines to ensure smooth and reliable deployment cycles, utilizing GitHub Actions or GitLab CI. Ensure system reliability and efficiency through regular monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning using tools like NewRelic and AWS CloudWatch. Deploy and maintain highly available, scalable, critical applications on cloud-native microservices architecture. Participate in on-call rotations to resolve system outages and ensure swift resolution of production issues. Collaborate with development teams to engineer software solutions that are resilient and scalable. Drive innovations by continuously assessing and integrating new tools and technologies. Here’s what you need to be successful 4-year degree in Computer Science or equivalent additional practical experience. 4+ years experience maintaining and deploying highly available, fault-tolerant systems at scale. A drive towards automating repetitive tasks (e.g. scripting via Bash, Python, Ruby, etc.). Proficient with AWS cloud services (API Gateway, RDS, S3, Lambda, IAM, VPC, EKS). Proficient in container orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Karpenter, and ArgoCD. Strong experience in infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation. Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) tools such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications Graduate degree in CS or other relevant field of study. Experience using Kubernetes, EKS, Terraform and Ansible.
