summary Programmer (Robotics/CNC/Automation) needed to join a local manufacturing companythat for over 40 years has proudly manufactured commercial cooking equipment for commercial kitchens worldwide. Programmer will be responsible for CNC support, automation & robotic integration into Sheet Metal Fabrication. Primary equipment to support includes robotic welders, panel benders, laser cutting, punch turrets as well as other auxiliary equipment and processes. Position performance to hire. Programmer duties: Responsible for developing tools and fixtures for robot applications and coordinate their manufacture. Coordinate introduction of new products to production that involve automation and robotics. Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering and the production floor to effectively implement new products into production. Evaluate the automation/robotics install to ensure operator safety. Perform risk assessments as required to ensure proper use of equipment. Continually review and monitor the robotic/automation processes to ensure they are maintained and operating to original standards developed. Train operators in the programming and operating of equipment. Establish optimum and safe means to run automation per OSHA guidelines. Assist in the creation and maintaining of Process Sheets (SOP) to ensure automation is ran consistently with operator safety in mind and that parts are manufactured to high Quality Standards. Work from verbal and written instructions, drawings, established specifications and documented procedures. Inspect work by using prescribed measuring instruments to ensure quality standards are maintained and parts meet print standards. Hours: 7 am - 3:30 pm Pay: $28 can vary on expirience Location: Pacoima required-skills: Experience programming robotic and CNC manufacturing equipment is required. Experience with laser cutting, robotic metal forming, and welding preferred. Inhouse automation equipment: Amada lasers, Turrets, Astro, Welding Robot, Rota-ARC 500 CS Salvagnini, P2 P4. 2 years experience required Proficient in 3D CAD design. ProEngineer/Creo preferred Strong computer skills MS office- Word, Excel, Outlook High Schoolrequired-experience: 2-3 years
