Schedule: Full-Time Days

Shift :

  • 5 am to 1:30 pm or 9 am to 5:30 pmEvery 5 th weekend 5 am to 1:30pm4 days a week (32 hours)
  • Every 5th Weekend and Holiday

The role youll contribute:

The Housekeeper maintains a clean and orderly condition throughout the institution in patient care and ancillary areas. Provides; waste removal and disposal, moving furniture, washing windows, moping, sweeping and waxing floors. Strives for and ensures customer satisfaction in all areas of responsibility. Records and submits all documentation as requested by the supervisor. Housekeepers assist with the education and training of staff. Practices cost containment involving supplies and equipment. Position is knowledgeable in the proper use of chemicals, equipment and supplies.

  • Uses chemicals in a safe manner
  • Uses appropriate guidelines for housekeeping infection control
  • Utilizes waste management in the room care setting
  • Provides excellent customer service to everyone
  • Performs the step cleaning method
  • Uses the capacity management program
  • Moves furniture
  • Removes all waste, garbage from all departments within the hospital and clinics.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • No Previous Experience Required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1 2 Years of Position-Related Experience
