Senior Electrical Engineer

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be instrumental in offering expert guidance on designated electrical engineering projects. Focus:

Offer technical advice and support for electrical engineering initiatives, maintaining adherence to safety protocols and environmental guidelines.

Engage with senior engineering staff to pinpoint and exploit opportunities for improving site safety, operational efficacy, and environmental safeguards by leveraging innovative technologies.

Execute detailed investigations and formulate strategic recommendations for engineering projects, ensuring they align with overall objectives and financial limitations.

Oversee small to medium-sized construction projects at the site, managing vendor contracts and the procurement of equipment.

Gain an in-depth understanding of relevant local, state, and federal regulations that impact your engineering responsibilities.

Actively participate in strategic planning and budgeting for the site, including the preparation and review of capital expenditure requests.

Serve as a representative on company-sponsored committees and task forces, aiding in strategic decisions and policy formations.

Undertake additional responsibilities as needed to enhance engineering operations and achieve organizational objectives.

Skill Set:

A Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field, is required.

A minimum of three years of pertinent experience for candidates with a Bachelors degree, or at least two years for those with a Masters degree.

Demonstrated mastery of Electrical Engineering fundamentals, with a comprehensive understanding of Mechanical and Process Engineering practices.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

A strong dedication to upholding safety protocols and recognizing workplace hazards

Superior communication abilities, both in oral and written forms.

Well-versed in modern electronics, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and control system technologies.

Proven track record in managing and overseeing small to medium-scale engineering projects.

Competence in assessing and integrating operational enhancements.

Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree or Professional Engineering (PE) certification, expertise in Power Systems Engineering, and a thorough familiarity with applicable industry regulations and technological tools.
