Construction Coordinator

MUST HAVES:

  • 10+ Years experience in industrial construction projects
  • OSHA 30 Certification
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction means and methods
  • 2+ years experience drawing review and field application abilities

PLUSES:

  • Associates Degree of higher in construction management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in software tools like AutoCad, Bluebeam and Microsoft Project

DAY-TO-DAY Responsibilities:

1. Implement building construction projects to support site.

2. Coordinates construction scheduling and communication.

3. Manage daily construction and RFI support for construction projects.

4. Act as liaison between in-field construction and project management.

5. May be responsible for estimates, schedules, materials and purchase orders.

6. Supervises construction activity in the field.

7. Coordinate weekend/shutdown work plans with contractors, facilities, NAMC shops, PC, and PE.

8. Work with vendors and contractors to coordinate equipment delivery, installation, and scheduling.

9. Have knowledge of general building construction methods.

10. Monitor equipment installation methods for confirmation that installation meets specifications and drawings.
