SUMMARY:

As a Supply Chain Analyst at UA, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain operations. You will be responsible for analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing valuable insights to improve inventory management, demand forecasting, procurement, and planning. Your work will contribute to cost reduction, inventory optimization, and better decision-making within the supply chain department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:
Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to supply chain performance, including but not limited to inventory levels, order fulfillment, transportation costs, and supplier performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine demand forecasts, helping ensure that the right amount of inventory is available to meet customer demands.
Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular inventory reconciliations, and recommend strategies to reduce excess or obsolete inventory.
Utilize advanced forecasting and demand planning techniques to optimize inventory levels, reduce carrying costs, and minimize stockouts or overstock situations.
Investigate supply chain disruptions and discrepancies to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Continuously assess supply chain processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance.
Generate regular reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track supply chain metrics, providing insights to management for decision-making.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, sales, and finance, to ensure alignment and effective communication within the organization.
Assist in developing and implementing sourcing strategies that optimize the supplier base, considering factors such as risk mitigation and supplier diversification.
Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to provide insights that can provide input to supply chain decisions and strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
BA/BS in Business, Supply Chain Management or Computer Science
5-7 years of experience in supply chain or related field
Detail oriented, with exceptional organizational skills
Demonstrated leadership skills and abilities
Demonstrated ability to formulate solutions and resolve issues in timely manner
Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to navigate in a windows-based computer environment
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
