Position Overview:

They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Firmware Engineer to join their dynamic team. As the Lead Firmware Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving the development of firmware solutions for our clients IoT devices. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a talented team, contribute to groundbreaking projects, and be at the forefront of technological advancements.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and mentor a team of firmware engineers in the design, development, and testing of embedded firmware for IoT devices.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, and product managers, to ensure seamless integration of firmware with hardware and software components.

- Drive the entire firmware development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring high-quality and efficient code.

- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate best practices and innovation into firmware development processes.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

- Proven experience as a Lead Firmware Engineer or similar role, with a track record of successfully delivering firmware projects.

- Proficient in embedded C/C++ programming and debugging for microcontrollers.

- Strong understanding of communication protocols, such as MQTT, CoAP, and experience with wireless communication technologies.

- Familiarity with IoT platforms, cloud services, and security considerations in firmware development.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with cellular communication protocols (e.g., LTE-M, NB-IoT).

- Knowledge of hardware design and schematics.

- Previous experience with wireless module integration.

- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
