The candidate for this position will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the development and execution of the Bank's audit plans to identify risks and evaluate controls and efficiencies as well as contribute to the safeguarding of corporate assets and interests of the Bank
  • Assisting in the preparation of audit reports to effectively communicate the findings to staff, senior management, and the Audit Committee
  • Participating in departmental meetings to explain audit objectives, perform audit tests and document processes.
Requirements for the position include:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in a Business-related field (waived in lieu of experience)
  • Strong verbal, written and organizational skills as well as strong analytical skills with the ability to identify problems
  • Strong computer skills including a proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • The ability to work late and/or flexible hours
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
  • Certified Internal Auditor designation
  • Regulatory compliance and banking experience
