TECHEAD is looking for a Technical Infrastructure Project Manager with PMP for one of our clients to manage a variety of contracts on-site hybrid in Richmond, VA.
Responsibilities:
Driving execution across Engineering initiatives, Product, Operations, and external teams and deliver complex IT projects coordinating with multiple teams and work streams to an aggressive delivery schedule.
Maintain project budget, plans, tasks, schedules, risks, and status and disseminate information to team members and customers as defined in the communications plan.
Serve as a hands-on technical project manager with development staff and business groups to support the implementation, scaling, and operating of various platforms.
Collaborate with vendors, internal project teams, and VSPs external partners in the execution of projects including contract management and working with the procurement division.
Adhere to project management practices and governance requirements.
Provide the management of project milestones and deliverables for on-time and on-budget delivery. Regularly present project updates to IT leadership and various audiences.
Define, measure, and clearly communicate progress with metrics.
Develop resource plan and track resources over the course of a project.
Ensure efficient execution and timely delivery across multiple work streams.
Facilitate decision making and problem solving to remove impediments for the teams.
Identify and report risks and blockers to execution in a timely manner.
Drive prioritization conversations between teams.
Build strong relationships, work closely with, and drive communication across both internal and external teams to ensure alignment
Requirements:
7 + years of project experience in IT infrastructure delivery, network and server infrastructure, knowledge of Cloud implementations, and vendor management.
MUST have PMP certification through PMI
Manage and deliver complex IT project(s) with multiple teams and work streams coordinated to an aggressive delivery schedule.
Familiarity with network technologies (switches, firewalls, circuits, etc.) standards and practices.
Manage projects consisting of Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or IT Infrastructure components (Servers, storage, OS upgrades, networking, software installs, vulnerability remediation, etc.)
Experience managing large multi-stream projects
Experience in various software development methodologies.
Preferred experience with Agile.
