We are seeking an energetic, responsible intern to join our motivated Marketing team. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in all aspects of our marketing operations, with a special emphasis on social media management. Your primary responsibilities will include creating, curating, and optimizing content for our social media platforms, as well as producing design graphics and video materials. You'll have the chance to collaborate across various marketing channels, contributing fresh ideas and innovative solutions.

Please note that it is your responsibility to coordinate with your College or University to obtain academic credit for this internship. Sportsdigita will provide any necessary documentation or support, but is not involved in the academic credit approval process.

Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Management
    • End-to-End Social Media Content Oversight: Take full responsibility for creating, planning, publishing, and analyzing social media content, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and strategic objectives.
    • Performance Analysis: Regularly analyze social media performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and content, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
    • Collaborative Campaign Development: Work closely with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop innovative social media campaigns that align with broader marketing goals and drive brand awareness and engagement.
    • Trendsetter: Continuously explore and integrate cutting-edge ideas, leveraging emerging trends and industry insights to keep our brand ahead of the curve.
  • Graphic Design
    • Designing Social Media Graphics: Create visually appealing graphics for social media posts, email headers, and ads.
    • Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs adhere to the brand's visual guidelines and maintain consistency across platforms.
    • Photo Editing: Edit and enhance images for use in social media and other digital channels.
    • Collaborating on Creative Projects: Work alongside the Creative Manager on larger projects, offering fresh ideas and design support.
  • Website Design
    • Website Content Updates: Assist in updating website content, including text, images, and multimedia elements.
    • Landing Page Design: Help design and optimize landing pages for specific campaigns or promotions.
    • Web Graphic Design: Create graphics and visual elements for the website, ensuring they are optimized for web use.
    • Wordpress experience required.
  • Video Editing
    • Editing and Post-Production: Work on video editing tasks, including cutting footage, adding transitions, captions and incorporating sound and music.
Requirements:
  • Must be a current undergraduate student in Junior or Senior year or a recent graduate within the last 12 months
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate and present to all levels of an organization
  • Ability to take initiative and proactively identify opportunities for improvement and independently manage tasks from concept to completion
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Portfolio showcasing relevant work examples and real world applications required

Compensation

Compensation will be in the form of hourly wage based on qualifications.
