This individual will ensure a high degree of ethical and professional standards are followed by all staff members. Monitor the overall quality and effectiveness of the agencys mental health programs and make necessary programmatic recommendations to the leadership team.RESPONSIBILITIESManage and organize all activities in the Outpatient Mental Health Clinic (OMHC)Design and implement business strategies to assist the clinic in realizing business goalsOversee the OMHCs compliance with legal policies, guidelines, and standardsEnsure the OMHC has sufficient and qualified personnelOrganize and run all patient care or administrative operations and programsEnsure all medical records are current and within state and federal lawsAct as a connection between patients, their families, and additional care staffPlan and manage the clinics budget and approve payrollProvide personnel with clinical training and opportunities for continuous developmentAssume responsibility for budgeting and resourcingCoordinate and supervise staff providing constructive feedbackMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelors Degree in medical science, clinical administration,healthcare administration, and related field; Masters Degree preferred.Strong leadership and management skillsGreat communication and interpersonal skills when dealing with clinical staff and patientsGood understanding of budget and resources planning budgeting in addition to evaluation procedures and methodsHands-on skills dealing with Outpatient mental health systems such as EHRProblem-solving skills when resolving administrative issues and conflictsAbility to delegate and supervise tasks as requiredUnderstanding of clinical practice and program developmentFamiliar with CARF and/or JCO standardsMinimum of seven years of experience in the healthcare businessIndependent and effective problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills with a teamwork approachProficiency in Microsoft Office and EHR systemsEmployment with interdynamics is contingent upon completing screening requirements (including, but not limited to, Criminal Background Check and State Child Abuse Registry Clearance).PERKS AND BENEFITSWe believe our employees are our most important asset.
