Bensonwood is seeking a Procurement Lead - Buyer to join the team.

Position Summary

While adhering to all company ethical and legal policies, the Procurement Lead - Buye r will be responsible for the systematic execution of procedures for the timely and cost-effective purchasing of all raw materials and equipment required for Production projects. Purchasing of inventory and supplies will be dictated by both shop and site Production schedules. This full-time position will report to the Director of Procurement and be located in our Walpole , New Hampshire facility.

Primary Responsibilities

+ Purchase inventory of raw materials and supplies

+ Maintain electronic procurement records of all items purchased

+ Negotiate price, quality, and delivery options with suppliers on an ongoing basis

+ Ensure timely delivery of materials

+ Project Allocation and Job Costing

+ Monitor routine min/max inventory schedules

+ Inventory and Cost Analysis

+ Perform other tasks as required

Preferred Qualifications

+ Experience in the Procurement of Wood Products and Construction Materials

+ Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Excel

+ Experience with data-based Accounting software such as Sage Master Builder and Filemaker

+ CAD experience a plus

+ Computer literacy with the ability to work in all Microsoft and Google applications
