We offer a comprehensive portfolio of products for the commercial, industrial and automotive semiconductor industries and are seeking engineering candidates for co-operative positions in electrical engineering for the Interconnect Solutions Group's High Performance Products division in St. Paul, MN. In this position you will gain hands-on experience working on real-world engineering projects, receive mentorship and guidance from experienced engineers. You will also be exposed to cutting-edge technologies and industry best practices and will have the opportunity to network with professionals in the field.

Roles & Responsibilities
Assist in the design, development, & testing of equipment systems and components used to automate product assembly & inspection.
Perform software simulation & physical testing of systems and subcomponents.
Conduct testing & troubleshooting of prototypes to ensure functionality & reliability.
Participate in the documentation of electrical design, specifications & test procedures.
Collaborate with senior engineers to analyze projects & provide innovative solutions.

Qualifications:
Candidates should currently be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or related field (senior year, gap, or working student recommended)
Have a solid understanding of electrical circuit theory & fundamentals (system integration, power management & controls experience is a plus)
Be familiar with CAD software (experience with SolidWorks software is a plus)
Experience with electrical schematic and wiring diagram generation preferred.
Possess strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
Strong communication & presentation skills
Self-motivated & able to work in a teamwork environment.
Eager to learn & adapt in a dynamic engineering environment.
Prior internship or project experience in electrical design or product development and manufacturing is a plus.

Duration:
The internship will be fulltime for a duration of 3 months with the possibility of extension based on performance and mutual agreement.
