Weekend Shift: Fri-Sun 5:00am-5:30pm

This role is responsible for welding and fabrication of transformer units in the Padmount shop.

  • Pad structural welding on Padmounts and Substations, welding boss nuts on OCR's.
  • Able to repair and weld leaks.
  • Welding on equipment as needed.
  • Able to complete complex fabrication/layout cutting assignments.
  • Verifying work orders with units; purging and cutting units.
  • Support monthly operational goals.
  • Work in other areas when needed.
  • High School or GED, preferred.
  • Previous welding experience required.
  • Welding certification is a plus.
  • Experience in plasma cutting.
  • Cooperative attitude towards all internal and external customers.
  • A dependable and strong work ethic; works safely.
  • Professional language and conduct at all times.
  • Ability to learn other areas sufficient to fill in where required.
