As an apprentice of the Manufacturing Development Program (MDP), you will be trained on how to build the batteries and drive units that power the most exciting, environmentally friendly vehicles on the planet, while expanding your knowledge in the growing field of Advanced Manufacturing. Program participants will complete a rigorous 4-6-week scholarship in Advanced Manufacturing, apply skills as a Production Associate at Gigafactory Nevada following course completion, and earn a Production Operator Certification after 2000 hours of on the job learning.We are looking for a new group of indiviuals to help us build a more sustainable future. If you are interested in jumpstarting a career in Manufacturing, we want to hear from you.Responsibilities Complete program requirements: Onboard as an MDP Associate to complete 4-6 weeks of coursework at Truckee Meadows Community CollegeConvert into a Production Associate to complete 2000 hours of on the job learning at Gigafactory Nevada by performing complex assembly work.
