Connect with your Talent Advisor for additional specifics.ResponsibilitiesPerform clerical and reception duties associated with patient registration.* Greet patients and visitors, respond to questions/concerns and direct them to appropriate location.* Provide on-going communication with clinical staff regarding patient status.* Collect and enter all necessary demographic, clinical, billing and insurance information from patients or responsible parties.* Explain processes and forms to patients prior to securing signatures and ensure that all documents are properly signed and witnessed as required.* Determine and accept required payments, including co-pays and deductibles.* All other duties as assigned.RequirementsEducation:* High School diploma or equivalent required.Work Experience:* Prior experience in a hospital environment or insurance company preferred.Additional PreferencesNo additional preferences.Why Join Our TeamAscension Michigan operates 16 hospitals and more than 300 related healthcare facilities that together employ nearly 23,000 compassionate associates.
