Job Title: Data Entry Indexer - Parma, OH

Job Description

As a Data Entry Indexer, you will be responsible for transferring data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using a keyboard or scanner. You will type in data provided from hard copy documents to be converted to electronic documents, verify data by comparing it to source documents, update existing data, and retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested. Additionally, you will perform regular backups to ensure data preservation and sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost.

Responsibilities
  • Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using a keyboard or scanner.
  • Type in data provided from hard copy documents to be converted to electronic documents.
  • Verify data by comparing it to source documents.
  • Update existing data.
  • Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested.
  • Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.
  • Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost.
Essential Skills
  • Data entry experience
  • Fast typing skills (will have to complete typing test)
  • Knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of office equipment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Customer service skills
  • Great attention to detail
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in document control, quality control, and quality assurance.
  • Experience in data collection and order entry.
Work Environment

This position is located in Parma, Ohio. The dress code is business casual. The available shift is the 2nd shift, Monday to Friday from 3 PM to 11 PM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.80 - $19.80
Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
