As we continue to grow at an accelerated pace, we are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Controller to oversee our financial activities and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our financial systems. Responsibilities: Financial Strategy: Develop, implement, and refine financial strategies that align with Arrae's overall goals and objectives. Provide strategic insights and recommendations to executive leadership to support decision-making processes. Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process, working collaboratively with department heads to establish accurate and actionable budgets. Prepare and communicate regular financial forecasts to guide resource allocation and business planning. Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and analyses. Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements. Present financial results to the executive team. Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure optimal liquidity while maximizing return on investments. Implement effective cash management practices and maintain relationships with banking partners. Debt Management: Work with debt providers to secure debt financing for inventory and other company operations. Must have experience with building out cash flow models in relation to debt financing. Risk Management: Assess and mitigate financial risks by implementing internal controls, conducting risk assessments, and staying updated on industry trends and regulations. Financial Modeling: Develop financial models and scenarios to support business decisions, investment opportunities, and growth strategies. Analyze potential mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships for financial viability. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering professional development and ensuring a high level of performance. Promote a collaborative and positive work environment. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, operations, and product development, to align financial goals with overall business objectives. Provide financial insights to support data-driven decision-making. Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable: Processing invoices, reconciling accounts, managing vendor relationships, processing payments, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring accuracy in financial records. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and CPA certification. Minimum of 2 years working as a controller. Proficiency in Xero. Hands-on experience with financial consolidations. Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting. Detail-oriented with excellent presentation skills. Ability to close books accurately and efficiently. Demonstrated stability in employment history.
