Summary:
Skellig is seeking a Process Automation Support Engineer to support the interfacing of an EMA lyophilizer into an existing SCADA system at a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing facility. (This role requires to be onsite 4x a week).
Salary Range: $140k - $155k USD.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will simultaneously include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives.
- Attend regularly scheduled project status meetings with Automation engineers and the System Integrator
- Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test, and deployment management activities
- Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
- Procure adequate resources to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes.
- Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources.
- Provide status reporting regarding project milestones deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues, communicating across leadership.
- Manage project scope and changes.
- Set and continually manage project expectations while delegating and managing deliverables with team members and stakeholders.
- Monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables.
- Define success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project and program life cycle.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- Rockwell. Allen Bradley, Siemens, PLC experience required
- Knowledge of WinCC OA is preferred
- DeltaV experience is preferred
- AVEVA PI experience is preferred
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with GMP in the pharmaceutical industry is a preferred
