Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled

SAP Basis HANA-DBA (Database Administrator)

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of our

SAP HANA database systems.

They will ensure the stability, performance, and security of the SAP environment, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and implementing database upgrades and patches. The candidate should have a strong understanding of SAP Basis administration and expertise in SAP HANA database management.

Responsibilities: Administer, maintain, and optimize

SAP HANA database systems to ensure high availability, performance, and security. Install, configure, and upgrade SAP HANA database software and related components. Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues, including proactive tuning and optimization. Implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and minimize downtime. Perform system refreshes, database copies, and client copies as required. Manage user access and security settings within the SAP HANA environment. Collaborate with SAP functional teams to support system upgrades, migrations, and projects. Develop and maintain documentation for database configurations, procedures, and best practices. Stay current with SAP HANA and Basis administration best practices and industry trends.

Requirements: 8+ years of experience as an

SAP Basis HANA-DBA or SAP HANA Database Administrator . Strong understanding of SAP Basis administration principles and practices. Proficiency in SAP HANA database administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance. Experience with SAP HANA high availability and disaster recovery solutions. Knowledge of SAP NetWeaver architecture and SAP application servers. Familiarity with SAP monitoring and troubleshooting tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications: SAP HANA certification or relevant training. Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration and implementation projects. Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager for system monitoring and management. Understanding of SAP Fiori and SAP Cloud Platform.
