Dearborn, United States Saxon Global Full time

This is a 12 month contract with Ford. Need to be onsite 1 day a week in Dearborn MI. All visa - No H1B. Take from Data Quad. They go onsite.

  • Requesting for an onsite Sr. Developer to help with dealer services projects. This is a replacement position (due to performance) for existing dealer services onsite developer.

    The Sr. developer will work with Technical Owner, Project Manager, Business team, Technology team to capture the integration requirements and make changes to the application accordingly. The Sr. developer need to propose solutions based on the business needs. Self-motivated and a team player.
  • Essential Job Functions:
    * Work with the Technology Owner/ Technical lead closely to come up with design and implementation.
    * Maintain and support the application.
    * Work with offshore / onsite resources on the detail implementation.
    * Code reviews and discussion on the changes with Technology owner
    * Work on integrations and documenting the API specifications and leads the meetings with integration partners
    * Must be willing to flex work hours accordingly to support application launches and manage production outages if necessary
    * Work with QA and automation team. Must have attention to detail to cover all scenarios for testing.
    * Works on best practices and documenting the process
    * Manages code merges and releases (Bitbucket)
    * Assist dev team in case of any issues.
  • Other Responsibilities:
    * Safeguard the company's assets.
    * Adhere to the company's compliance program.
    * Maintain comprehensive knowledge of industry standards, methodologies, processes, and best practices.
    * Maintain a focus on customer-service, efficiency, quality, and growth.
    * Training additional team members
    * Other duties as assigned.
  • Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:
    * Must have a Bachelor degree
    * Must have at least 7-10 years of IT development experience.
    * Must be a team player.
    * Must have experience in Java/J2EE or C#, design patterns, web services , integrations, file feeds.
    * Must have strong SQL and backend experience.
    * PL/SQL experience is plus
    * Azure experience is a plus
    * IIB experience is a plus
    * Experience collaborating with dev team, project managers, and engineers.
    * Excellent communication and teamwork skills
    * Experience and desire to work within a fast-paced, iterative development environment; experience with Agile a strong plus
    * Experience working with JIRA, WIKI and Bitbucket.
    * Must have experience working in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
    * Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    * Must have ability to work the time necessary to complete projects and/or meet deadlines.
    * Preference will be given to candidates willing to work from office in Dearborn, Michigan in hybrid setting
