Your future role on our team BBA is a well established private Canadianfirm and provides specialized engineering services in the natural resourcesindustry, including iron ore processing. We’re currently seeking a seniorengineer with extensive expertise in iron ore processing. The specific sectors of expertisewe’re seeking include magnetic processes (low and high intensity), gravityseparation (hydroclassifiers and spirals), concentrate drying and dewatering,flotation for production of high purity concentrates, bulk concentratemanagement, pelletizing, direct reduction processes and operational experience.At BBA, we’re proud to define and strive toward the mine of the future andgreen mining operations. With us, you’ll get theopportunity to... Provide metallurgical expertise for all aspects of projects and studies, including EPCM projects.

Serve as a discipline lead for studies and supervise the work of junior and intermediate engineers.

Lead metallurgical tests and guide clients in developing their projects.

Perform due diligence audits and manage preliminary economic, prefeasibility and feasibility studies within multidisciplinary project teams.

Promote BBA expertise in the iron ore processing industry.

Liaise with clients on technical matters and professionally present reports, publications and briefings.

Design and simulate mineralogical processes.

Examine and approve mass balances, process design criteria, PFDs, P&IDs, layouts and technical specifications.

Lead and participate in market analyses for local and worldwide iron ore projects.

Prepare, review and approve professional qualifications, expressions of interest as well as proposals and service offerings.

Take on various interdisciplinary technical challenges to ensure factory acceptance tests and the implementation of optimization solutions for processes are performed on time, safely and cost effectively.

Review, analyze or develop PFDs, P&IDs, technical specifications and evaluations, material land energy balances and process design and operating parameters.

Assess, select and commission new technology to improve the sustainability, efficiency and profitability of client operations. Do your qualities andvalues match our corporate culture? At least 15 years of experience in mineral processing operations

Strong track record of successfully completing projects in the mining and metals industry

Qualified person as per CIM standards

Ability to travel frequently across Canada and abroad (> 25 %)

Canadian Professional engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligible to.
