State Sales Manager - Fast-Paced Transactional Sales Environment

Our client, a leader in legal tech solutions, is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to expand our market share and sales team across California. If you're a strategic thinker with a proven track record in fast-paced transactional style B2B sales, we want to hear from you

Responsibilities: Own and deliver the overall sales target for the business. Actively support, mentor, and develop the Sales Team into high achievers. Collaborate with Marketing and other departments to create and execute sales strategies. Manage key opportunities alongside sales representatives. Conduct weekly sales meetings to forecast and assess team performance. Oversee sales expenditure budgets and ensure alignment with marketing for maximum ROI. Minimize client churn to under 10% per annum and manage client retention programs. Handle partner relationships to maximize business opportunities. Resolve escalations efficiently and ensure sound resolutions. Establish sales objectives through forecasting, process development, and accurate reporting.

Job Specifications:

Education and Experience: 5+ years' experience in B2B sales. 3+ years' experience in sales operations. Proven record as a successful Sales Manager with a passion for selling. Experience in scaling sales teams and B2B selling, preferably fast-paced, short sales cycle environments. legal tech and/or software experience would be highly regarded.

Knowledge and Skills: Client-focused with a commitment to satisfaction and growth. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills, including liaison, negotiation, and conflict resolution. Proven ability to exercise sound judgment in complex decision-making. Commitment to customer service and continuous improvement.
