BlueHalo is seeking an exceptionally talented Modeling and Simulation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Ground System Development (GMN) Project Office. Your expertise will drive the success of our simulation and modeling efforts, ensuring the effective integration and application of these tools in system engineering processes.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will support the GMN System Engineering Lead and Deputy by coordinating and collaborating with the GMD Industry M&S team. You will conduct technical reviews of GMD M&S plans and track M&S Objective Evidence to ensure technical requirements and milestones are met. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with multiple stakeholders to determine M&S need dates, tracking the status of M&S deliveries, and preparing technical reports and briefings to convey M&S status effectively. You will leverage your comprehensive knowledge of the system engineering life cycle to research, analyze, synthesize, and critique program challenges and issues, proposing solutions aligned with GMD strategic goals. Additionally, you will develop and present technical reports and briefings that clearly and concisely convey complex ideas, concepts, status, analysis, and recommendations.

This position is 100% onsite at Redstone Arsenal and requires 10% travel.

Required:

  • MS Degree in a STEM field (Computer Science or Engineering).
  • 12+ years of related experience in Models and Simulations and Systems Engineering.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the System Engineering Life Cycle.
  • Experience in integrating models and simulations into seamless, system-of-systems simulations.
  • Active Secret level clearance
Preferred:
  • Familiarity with MDA processes and Model-Based System Engineering
  • Ability to develop documents for Program Reviews and Engineering Review Boards (ERB)
