Position Summary
MemorialCare Medical Foundation is looking for an experienced, board-certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to work per diem at our Ob/Gyn practice on East Spring Street in Long Beach, CA.Must be available to work at least 4 days a week. ***This is a short-term (3-6 months) assignment beginning in November 2024 to cover a leave of absence. There may be future opportunities to cover at other MemorialCare Medical Group clinics.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job
Position Information:
•100% Outpatient
•Hours of operation:Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm
•Average 15 to 20 patients per day
•Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations
•Implant contraception (e.g., IUD placement, Nexplanon, etc.)
•See new OB patients
•Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests
•Formulate a differential diagnosis and establish a working diagnosis
•Pay rate: $60-$75/hour
Experience:
•1+ year of experience in Women's Health or Ob/Gyn as a NP
Qualifications:
•Must have completed an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
•Current, active, unrestricted licensure as an NP
•NP Furnishing license
•Experience with Epic EMR system highly preferred
•Licensed to practice in California
•Current BLS certification
•NPI and DEA
•Board certification in Women's Health (Required)
