Audit
This Senior Internal Auditor position is a corporate role that will work onsite from the Argosy Casino Alton, IL location. Prepares and follows Audit programs to conduct Audits. Supervises staff internal Auditor when in the field. Completes Audit files with working papers referenced to the Audit program. Reviews staff Audit files. Presents Audit issues to the Internal Audit Manager and/or Regional Internal Audit Director for the development of reports and recommendations.
Procedure
Develops and recommends alternative procedures to enhance operations. Recommends improvements to procedures, operational efficiencies and continued compliance. Assist in planning the theory and scope of Audits and related Audit programs.
Quality Assurance
Performs detail testing of source documents to ensure compliance with requirements of internal Control Manuals, Regulatory Rules/Acts and departmental policies and procedures. Liaises with external Auditors to communicate information and resolve problems.
Analysis
Performs observations and analysis of departmental procedures to ensure compliance and operational efficiencies.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in finance, business or related field from an accredited four-year college or university. CPA or CIA or candidate for certification strongly desired. A minimum of 3 – 5 years' experience of within the internal Audit discipline. Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Communication
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Skills
Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to research and gather data from internet and other sources, compile information, and prepare reports.
