Job Description
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in DataPower/Azure API Management
administration, including deploying, configuring, and managing DataPower
Gateway appliances/Azure API Management
in large-scale environments.
- Should have a good understanding of the architecture of the API
Gateway, as well as related technologies such as XML, web services, SSL/TLS,
and SOA.
- Experience in configuring and deploying DataPower Gateway
appliances, including creating and managing domains, services, and policies.
- Should have knowledge of security best practices, including
authentication, authorization, and encryption, and should be able to
configure and manage these features on DataPower
Gateway appliances.
- Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting issues related to
DataPower Gateway appliances/ Azure API Management, including analyzing logs
and trace files, and diagnosing and
resolving issues
- Able to develop custom scripts to automate tasks and integrate
DataPower Gateway appliances with other systems.
- Experience using monitoring tools such as DataPower Operation
Dashboard(DPOD)/Azure AppInsights.
- Should have good communication skills to coordinate and be able to
work effectively within and across teams.
Responsibilities:
- Deploy, configure and operate DataPower Gateway appliances/Azure
API Management in large-scale environments.
- Monitor ,report and troubleshoot different issues identified in
PROD and no-prod environments
- Create, operate and maintain domains, services, and policies.
- Setup and maintain authentication, authorization, and encryption
using security best practices on DataPower Gateway appliances.
- Analyze logs and trace files as part of issue resolution.
- Able to develop custom scripts to automate tasks and integrate
DataPower Gateway appliances with other systems.
- Analyze and review existing setup and identify improvement areas at
ongoing basis.
- Prepare status report, communicate and coordinate with different
team members in the project.
